Easy Signs (easysigns.com.au) is an industry leading, internet based, new age signage manufacturing company with a strong focus on technology and fast turnaround times.
We need someone to lead our manufacturing division, who will structure our team and facility for growth and efficiency. This is a top level management position reporting to the company Directors. There are currently ~100 employees in the teams that report up to this role, including the manufacturing team that operate over 3 shifts 24/5.
This role has approximately 6 direct reports and is responsible for teams including manufacturing, dispatch & warehousing, training & the engineering/machine maintenance team.

Our growth plans require a motivated Operations Manager that can challenge the status quo and lead a fast pace manufacturing operation embracing continual improvement.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
- 5+ years' experience in managing operations in a Manufacturing, FMCG or relevant environment.
- Experience managing and developing a fast growing team and overall operation.
- University Degree in relevant field and demonstrated intelligence through academic results.
- A natural leader with high energy levels along with amazing communication skills.
- A strong focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives. We focus heavily on improving processes using new technologies and need someone that can embrace this change to push efficiency improvements.
- Ability to develop metrics to track performance and optimise workflows or processes.
You will be focused on:
- Management and Forecasting of Production Resources
- Ensuring QC and SO procedures are maintained and developed using effective communication and training across all Production Shifts
- Oversight of machine maintenance and servicing schedule being upheld and maintained by the engineering team.
- Oversight of the training team and training programs to ensure all staff are correctly trained.
- Oversight of the warehouse & dispatch teams, including working closely with our purchasing team.
- Provide oversight for support and resolution of operational issues as they come up on the production floor.
- Ensuring maximum productivity from your teams.
- Liaise with Production Supervisors to achieve manufacturing and business KPI’s
- Development and implementation of continual process improvement and adoption by the Production team.
- Maintain safety in the workflow and ensure WH&S guidelines are adhered to.
This is a developing role with regular continual improvement, you will be helping improve the structure and processes while you work closely with our innovation team & executive team and together keep all aspects of the business one step ahead as we continue to grow quickly.
