About the Opportunity

An exciting new opportunity has become available for a full-time proactive Services / Operations Manager working across key areas of the business - Technical Customer Support, Field Service, and Training, we are seeking a dynamic employee preferrable with a trade background and sound operational and leadership capabilities.  Leading a high performing team, you will focus on achieving organisational objectives and have a "customer first" mindset.   

Position responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, inspire and train the team, guiding them to achieve their full potential with clear direction, effective communication, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Customer Champion: Be the hero for customers facing issues, resolving them promptly and cost-effectively, all while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies, implementing best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet service demands effectively.
  • Manage labour resources, in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Ensure implementation and comprehension of Quality Systems and total quality management in all service aspects, adherence to procedures, and compliance with company standards.
  • Budget Management: Contribute to budget development, cost control, and financial reporting within the service operations domain.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all service operations adhere to relevant safety, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Proactively identify areas of business improvement to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular huddles to ensure quality service is living and breathing in our organisation. 
     

About You

  • You're a person who has a high attention to detail, quality focused person that doesn't compromise and cut corners, with a passionate about making a difference.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward common objectives.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple divisions and projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset, with the capability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the fire safety industry is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Adaptability to change in your role as the business continues to expand.
