THE ROLE
My client, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to oversee and manage their Brisbane commercial operations. If you are an honest, self-motivated and enthusiastic person who is looking for a challenging position in a fast paced depot environment and you have a desire to Manage a team and 50 + drivers, then this is the job for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet all safety, environment and quality requirements
- Compliance with the company's Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Refining and improving the business
- Strive to build a positive team environment
- Managing a team and 50 + drivers & 2 Leading Hands
- Portray a positive image for the company at all time
THE CANDIDATE
- Exceptional people management skills and a customer service focus with a drive to exceed customer expectations, previous experience in Transport – highly regarded
- Management experience and a customer service background is preferable
- High level Excel and Word skills
- A degree in Transport Logistics or Business Management would be an advantage
- Flexible, driven, honest and self-motivated
- HR licence is highly regarded - but not essential
