About the role
This unique position will support the operational areas of Residential Aged Care to deliver consistently high-quality care to consumers by driving quality improvement, best practise clinical standards, risk management initiatives and consumer centric outcomes. Reporting to the General Manager and partnering closely with teams across the organisation this role will facilitate a consumer safety culture with all care staff across the Residential Aged Care service with the provision of educational, technical and operational expertise this role will contribute to MercyCare’s Quality Vision strategy and drive the Quality Compliance Framework.
About you
You will be an experienced Quality Operations Manager who is inspired to influence the development of service across the Residential Aged Care service. You will thrive on a busy environment, juggling multiple priorities and stakeholder requests. You’ll be focused on quality and bring an exceptional level of attention to detail that ensures service excellence. Your key experience will include:
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration
- In-depth clinical management experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated leadership in a clinical /quality role in aged care or health organisation
- Excellent knowledge of the Aged Care Accreditation Quality Standards
- Strong online system skills and knowledge of the iCare system is ideal
- Excellent communication, leadership and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Evidence of Covid and Influenza Vaccination (preferred)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
