About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to continue the business on its growth trajectory, while being able to enhance efficiency, productivity and safety culture. Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager will be responsible for growing the production capacity of the business through eliminating waste, developing more productive manufacturing processes and driving increased productivity.
You will be responsible for the day to day operations of the business, specifically;
- Leading a strong safety culture.
- Driving operational efficiencies and continuous improvement to increase production capacity in the business.
- Implement strategies to aid in achieving and exceeding budgeted revenue and profit targets.
- Developing relationships with key clients.
- Full logistics, warehouse and fleet management responsibilities.
- Leading from the front; a hands-on approach is required.
- Managing 3 direct reports and a team of 30 plus team members.

- Have previous experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Have a proven track record of delivering operational excellence and a demonstrated ability to impact the P&L through cost control and margin enhancement.
- Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change, competing priorities and work demands.
- Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and driving a customer centric culture that operates with a sense of urgency.
- Experience in driving change in a business and developing and implementing new processes.
- Problem solving skills, complemented by strong negotiating, and influencing skills .
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
