The company is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the dynamic team and contribute to the continued success and growth of the manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Leadership:

• Develops and implements strategic plans to optimize manufacturing and packaging processes.
• Collaborates with senior management to align operations with organizational goals.
• Production Management:

• Oversees day-to-day manufacturing and packaging operations, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Implements best practices to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
• Resource Management:

• Manages resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet production and packaging demands.
• Optimizes resource allocation to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:

• Implements robust quality control processes in both manufacturing and packaging to meet customer specifications.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and packaging quality.
• Cost Control and Budget Management:

• Monitors and controls manufacturing and packaging costs to meet budgetary constraints.
• Identifies cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and efficiency.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Leads and motivates a diverse team of production supervisors, engineers, and support staff in both manufacturing and packaging.
• Fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Supply Chain Collaboration:

• Collaborates with the supply chain team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials for both manufacturing and packaging.
• Develops strong relationships with suppliers to enhance supply chain resilience.
• Regulatory Compliance and Safety:

• Ensures compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements in both manufacturing and packaging.
• Implements and monitors health and safety protocols within the manufacturing and packaging facility.

• Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Or 5+ years experience in a FMCG environment.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing operations management role, with expertise in both manufacturing and packaging.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
