About the role:
Working with our Medical Indemnity insurance - Operations, Process and Improvement team, this key role is responsible for managing delivery of critical end to end processes (e.g. Renewals cycle) that involve multiple departments or functions within the organisation.
This role plays a pivotal role in planning, executing and monitoring project activities, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful delivery within timelines and budgets. This role involves coordinating diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and driving progress to achieve desired outcomes.
Key accountability:
- Lead the planning and initiation of cross-functional critical processes and initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, delivery schedule and outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements, to guide project execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning roles and responsibilities, and facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, tracking milestones, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Facilitate Working Group and Governance meetings and regular check-ins to discuss and communicate project status, updates, assess progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Promoting a collaborative and solution-oriented approach to overcome challenges.
- Facilitate post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights, identify areas for improvement, and document best practices for future projects.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation and encouraging effective cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects to completion.
- Ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and foster collaboration across different departments and levels of the organisation.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and lead teams through uncertainty.
- Pragmatic and comfortable making decisions where needed to make progress.
- Driven to identify opportunities for improvement and work with key stakeholders to influence positive process change.
