Portfolio Administration Analyst | Investment Operations

MARS Recruitment is partnered with a global fund manager which holds an excellent reputation in the Sydney market. Due to growth and success they are looking for an additional Portfolio Administration Analyst, to join a newly created team with responsibilities across the Portfolio Administration and operation process in their Sydney office.

This role would suit an individual that is passionate about joining a fund manager that is focusing on Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and that has previous experience in fund administration or back-office support within asset management. The Portfolio Administration Analyst, will support and collaborate with the wider Investment Operations department, whilst also assisting with current projects and process improvements.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Perform daily fund NAV, cash, and position reconciliation
• Processing core operational workflow for ETF settlements, trade processing, cash management
• Monitoring trade settlements and ensure timely settlements
• Liaise with third-party providers and internal teams
• Assist in projects, initiatives and operational improvements

Essential criteria:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience within a financial services or accounting institution
• Previous fund administrator, custody or investment management experience
• Direct experience in the ETF industry highly regarded
• Excellent communicate skills and can-do attitude
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Tertiary qualified, preferably in Accounting, Commerce or Finance
