The position, Operations Support Officer will work closely with all levels and areas within MBS. The position is responsible for the operational and administration support of the organisation’s Supported Employment, Social Enterprise, School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) and Traineeship Programs.
The purpose of Operations Officer- 2IC. To be responsible for the management of resources required to support the successful operation of Mambourin Business Solutions (MBS) inclusive of operational and administrative requirements.
The role comprises the following main areas of responsibility:
- Compilation of and data entry into MBS IT programs.
- Assisting with all audit requirements as dictated by relevant IT system.
- Assist with all training needs as dictated by relevant IT system.
- Completing rosters for all MBS sites on a daily basis.
- Allocate work as required for completion of jobs.
- Mentor supported employees as required for roles.
- Assisting Employee coordinator as required.
- Complete backfill duties as required for Leading Hand Mentors, SLES facilitator and Employee Coordinator.
- Perform administrative and operational duties as determined by Manager MBS.
- Assist with sourcing new customers and preparing customer quotations.
- Develop internal relationships to facilitate engagement in recruitment practices.
- Assist in ensuing all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
- Manage emergency or crisis situations and performance issues within the team in the absence of Manager MBS.
Requirements:
- Relevant operational/administrative qualifications.
- Minimum three years previous experience in operations for a medium sized organisation.
- Extensive knowledge and proven experience in commercial operations practices including budgeting, quoting, tenders.
- Demonstrated business and financial skills—strong financial management and business planning skills and experience.
- Warehousing/logistics ICT skills and or knowledge and understanding.
- Clear Police Check.
- Current Victorian driver’s license.
- Forklift Licence.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an innate ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships and credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders.
