Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, you are dedicated to providing leadership to your team. You will be required to deliver service and expertise so that your team sustains high levels of plant and equipment safety, availability, reliability and operational performance. Your focus is always ensuring the health and safety of our people while meeting organisational goals and statutory compliance.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Effectively coordinating and managing a team to perform operational activities for conveyors, feeder pumps, cyclones, screens and other associated processing equipment at Oaky Creek Coal.
- Optimising all maintenance and operation activities to ensure that equipment down time is minimised.
- Reviewing of delays and corrective actions to improve equipment availability.
- Building and developing stakeholder relationships
About you:
- Demonstrated commitment to a high performing safety culture.
- Hold formal qualifications as an Engineer or Trade
- Proven supervisory experience, with a strong background in Coal Handling Plants
- Have proven experience in a similar role in a mining or materials handling environment.
- Have excellent planning and coordination skills with the ability to operate under pressure.
- Have attention to detail in reporting and good written / verbal communication skills
- SAP experience
