Project Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading the Project Controls function and providing support to the Procurement function for our Moranbah Gas Plant Project in Queensland.This will include managing/coordinating cost reporting, providing support to procurement/logistics activities, ensuring operational managed site projects are completed safely and within time and budget expectations while maintaining high visibility on management of change issues and variations to schedule/cost.This role is based within our Brisbane CBD Office, Monday to Friday.This position is a
Maternity Leave Contract, with the expected length from June 2024 - January 2025, but is subject to change or be extended.Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):· Generating innovative solutions within the working environment, trying different and novel ways to deal with situations that arise.· Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders and embrace a learner mindset that seeks continuous improvement.· Ensure that project controls framework and systems for planning and implementing projects will meet objectives.· Accurately track, record and report on project process, committed funds, actual expenditure, reporting on overruns and earned values.· Prepare work break down structures and cost breakdown structures for project budgeting and forecasting.· Recording and monitoring all projected spending and commitments against the project budget including personnel, company costs, and third-party contractors.
Qualifications & Experience Required:· Project cost control experience with 5/10 years experience in a similar cost/planning/projects role· Experience working with MS Project, Primavera, and MS Excel.· Experience working in project financial, project support or project controls groups.· Experience within a mining, oil & gas or construction project environment.· Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders.
