Our Opportunities
We are looking to grow our team and are excited to be recruiting additional experienced RN or EN (with GP experience) who is passionate about patient education, care plans, travel vaccinations and has excellent communication skills.
Initial training will be at our clinic in Sandringham then shifts at either Sandringham or Cheltenham
This is expected to be a Permanent Part Time role (optional for Full Time), supporting a growing practice of procedure and treatment room focused practitioners.
The Role
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Recalls and Reminders
- Triage management
- Immunisations
- Chronic Disease management (INCA)
- DVA calls
- Iron Infusions
- Health Assessments
- Treatment room assistance as required
- Patient education, support and building links to the community
- Stock maintenance and ordering and other minor reception duties
Required Knowledge and Experience
The successful applicant will have:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Background working in a busy General Practice
- Attention to detail and care applied to documentation
- Able to perform all general Practice Nurse duties, such as immunisations, procedure assistance, wound care management, clinical stock ordering and etc.
- Able to provide quality patient care to people with complex needs
- Able to work autonomously and within a team, ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadline
- Experience with Best Practice and Inca (an advantage)
