Job description

Unit: People & CultureDivision: City EnablersLocation: Town Hall Employment status: Permanent Part-time (30 hours per week)Classification: Municipal Officer Level 4Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2021Salary range: $114,300 to $130,940 (pro-rata) per annum + 12.5% superannuation. You will also receive a laptop and mobile phone.
About the role
The role involves implementing a culture change program aligned with the City's values, coaching leaders on performance frameworks, and supporting leadership development. It includes integrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into culture change, conducting research, and collaborating on tailored action plans. The responsibilities span corporate activities like facilitating workshops, coaching sessions, and providing resources. The role also requires planning and monitoring change projects, establishing performance measures, and contributing to an organisational-wide transformation program. Additionally, it involves influencing leaders to drive the desired culture, providing professional advice on integrating values, and supporting various aspects of People and Culture initiatives.
About you
The ideal candidate has a degree in Business or Commerce, preferably in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, or Organisational Psychology. They should possess experience in designing and delivering contemporary Organisational Development programs, as well as coaching and leading small teams with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in project management, handling multiple time-sensitive activities, facilitation, and evidence-based coaching. Strong research and analysis skills, along with the ability to write concise reports and recommendations, develop policies, and implement procedures are essential. Proactive problem-solving, conflict resolution, collaborative teamwork, and excellent interpersonal skills, including building positive stakeholder relationships, are required. Experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and/or wellness strategies is highly desired.
