With open communication, a collaborative leadership team and engaged families, this could be the OSHC role for you!

Our OSHClub based in Trafalgar is looking for a passionate Coordinator  to flex their planning, communication and people skills in a dynamic team. This is a permanent part-time opportunity for 31.5 hours per week guaranteed (the perfect balance!)

You will need to be avaialble: Monday – Friday, 6:30AM - 9:00AM (Rise then Shine program) and 03:00PM – 6:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) + 4 additional admin hours.

About the role

You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About us

Partnering with parents and school communities, our goal is to build brighter futures by supporting children’s development through play in fun, engaging environments. We live and breathe our company values every day by being considerate, passionate, and courageous, and making a difference (and hope that you do too!)

About the school

Based in Trafalgar, this service has a great relationship with the school at its families. You'll have plenty of space to plan indoor and outdoor activities, with three playgrounds on site. There will be times where you're single-staffed, however they are recruiting a permanent Educator for you to collaborate with. The leadership team from surrounding services is also highly collaborative, with training sessions and community admin days to ensure you always feel connected.

Who are we looking for? Could it be you?

  • Communication comes easily to you - whether it's with parents, school staff or your supportive colleagues

  • You are strong in time management and planning

  • You can work independently and take the lead

  • You have a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, School-Aged Care, Social Work or any other related field as per ACECQA's guidelines (head to their website or reach out to us to find out more)

  • Current WWCC, First Aid/CPR and police check certification (or willingness to obtain)

What's in it for you?

  • Discounted Health Insurance – get a discount off your premium with Bupa
  • Discounted Fitness and Wellbeing – discounted gym membership at over 400 Gyms/Studios, up to 50% off fitness & wellbeing benefits through Wherefit
  • Lucrative Employee Referral Program – earn up to $750 for an employee referral via Care Friends

PLUS:

  • Discounts for your children to attend our services.

  • Awards and recognition for performance and service.
  • We pay for your first aid qualifications and police checks and pay you to train.
