A new service based in Trafalgar is looking for a passionate and organised Senior Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent full-time position at 38 hours per week all year round. Working in a growing pod of services, this role would see you lead a dynamic team and extend your management skills.
In addition to a $74,000 base salary + super + $4,000 travel allowance, there is also a $2,500 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $2,500 loyalty bonus at 12 months.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Manage a portfolio of schools
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

Who are we looking for?
You need to have:
- Strong and clear communication with previous people leadership experience
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Understanding of children's needs and how to manage challenging behavior
- Australian work rights
- Hold, or currently be studying an ACECQA approved qualification at a Diploma level or higher
