Job description

This role is what every OSHC Coordinator dreams of! This Lead Coordinator role is to manage a large OSHC service in Inglewood, lead a team, be involved in the school community, and build key relationships with the school, families, and children. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for 38:00 hours per week guaranteed.

In addition to 6 hours of paid admin every week, every term you also have 3 hours of paid professional development and 2 hours of paid staff meetings. As a national company, we have centralised teams to manage parent accounts and invoicing so you can focus on what you love: providing exceptional experiences for children and leading teams. 

About the role 

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at Harrison OSHClub in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.  

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!  
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.  
  • Ensure quality and compliance in service delivery, and work with your team towards excellent rating and assessment outcomes.

Who are we looking for? 

We can teach you about the job and JAG, but a few basics you need to have:  

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in a leadership position or a similar role.
  • Must meet ACECQA requirements for 1st qualified. Ideally minimum Diploma qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care) or have completed minimum 2 years of full-time study in a relevant field.
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check, or state required check.
  • Clear and professional communication.
