Overview of the role
Applications are now invited to join the Business Systems Team as an Operational Technology Support Officer.
A key technical role responsible for maintaining the IT/OT business systems and deployment of systems supporting the functional demands presented by the company while also providing day to day technical advice, problem solving and support for the Sites Process Control systems.
The successful applicant will also be responsible for hardware lifecycle planning and standardisation while ensuring the correct and consistent application of appropriate discipline or Nyrstar programming and HMI standards.
This is a residential role, based in Port Pirie, South Australia. Relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidate as required.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Development of process control equipment performance requirements in relation to site standards.
- Ensuring the long-term integrity of the process control network by actively managing key equipment strategies.
- Participates in project design reviews to ensure consistency with required business outcomes.
- Maintenance of electrical and control systems to achieve production targets and sustainability.
Qualifications, Skills & Experiences:
- 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience in PCS maintenance and knowledge of site specific PLC’s required.
- Excellent communication skills with strong client focus
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of PLC and historian systems maintenance.
