About Power Bay and the Role :

Power Bay Pty is a Brisbane based renewable energy solutions business, with Residential & Commercial Solar, Commercial Battery, EV Charging and Heat Pump divisions with warehousing in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

While the group is focused on manufacturing and C&I scale renewable projects, including grid connected Storage facilities, they are growing the Outbound Sales team into the Hot Water replacement market.

This has created the need for an Outbound Sales Consultant to contact the warm leads for customers seeking a Hot Water system replacement and closing these sales opportunity, by winning the quote and allocating it to one of our Plumber partners, initially in Southeast Queensland.

The purpose of the role is to support our National BDM and Head Office team to launch our new Air Sourced Heat Pump range for Hot Water solutions.  With energy savings of 80% with our current Heat Pump range, the demand for a green Hot Water solution is high.  This is a high-volume outbound calling role, with a good base salary and generous sales incentives. 

 Key responsibilities will include:

• Outbound calls to warm leads from customers that are seeking a replacement Hot Water system to secure sales orders for Power Bay Heat Pumps.  Expected call volumes of 4 per hour.
• Inbound calls from customers that are in the sales pipeline and Plumbing contractors that complete our installations of Heat Pumps.
• Support the BDM in delivering the channel strategy for the long-term success of the Power Bay Heat Pump business Nationally.
• Become a knowledge expert on the Hot Water market in Southeast Queensland, through the interactions with the households buying replacement systems and provide feedback to the Head Office team.
• Understand how to utilise CRM and in-house Tools to provide competitive quotes to consumers, that take into consideration the type of Hot Water replacement (ie. Electric vs Gas) and what government rebates are applicable (ie. STC, VEEC, ESC). 
• Operate within a small team and complete the daily tasks required to complete 100 quality outbound calls per week, while maintaining the CRM information accurate to deliver a 25% closure rate.
• Collaboration is critical, as we are a small team and are looking for an achievement focused Sales Consultant that can grow with our business and become a future BDM.

A successful candidate will have:

• Strong preference for direct sales experience with Hot Water systems or Heat Pumps.
• Qualifications in Business or Sales would be desirable.
• Evidence of outbound phone sales is essential.
• Sound computer skills (Outlook, Excel, CRM etc)
• Ability to work in a “team” environment to deliver team outcomes.
• Ability to build rapport with customers, evidenced by sales success in previous roles.
