Our client is a top trade distributor of products for the building, renovation, furniture making, and shop fitting industries. Their success in these diverse fields hinges on offering a range that aligns with current and emerging trends. Their customers are cabinet makers, furniture makers, glaziers, fabricators, designers, builders, and renovators.
The role:
As part of the Customer Support team, you will be accountable for the effective ownership and management of a customer portfolio including, development, implementation, and management of call cycle plans. You will form key relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor. Responsibilities include:
- Providing a customer-centric experience through all engagement channels with customers;
- Ownership and management of a customer portfolio;
- Plan, manage, and coordinate sales activities in line with current promotions with a focus on margin, revenue and share of wallet;
- Promotion of new and core range of products as applicable to customer;
- Build and maintain positive customer rapport / relationships within portfolio;
- Use product knowledge to showcase solutions for customer application and sales growth;
- Support transition and handover of customers between sales channels to ensure effective customer management and sales growth; and
- Generate and share growth ideas across the teams to ensure better outcomes in their customer portfolios.
What we are looking for:
- Two + years Outbound Sales and Customer Service essential;
- Experience in Trade advantageous but not essential;
- High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task;
- Ability to work unsupervised, and a team player;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and get desired results; and
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high quality output and focus on the details.
