Are you passionate about fostering a culture of excellence through effective risk management and Compliance?
We are looking for a dynamic team member for our Risk and Compliance Team. As Senior Risk and Compliance Officer, you will provide specialised advice on and professional support for the development, implementation and reporting of Risk and Compliance frameworks within Brisbane Catholic Education.
About the role:
- Work with the Manager and other team members to progress the development and implementation of Risk and Compliance programs within BCE
- Manage operational aspects of BCE’s risk management and Compliance programs including the maintenance of Risk and Compliance registers and development of tools and resources to support these programs
- Facilitate capability development and the building of a Risk and Compliance intelligent culture
- Provide specialised advice and support to BCE functions, teams and schools on risk identification, assessment, management and mitigation
- Work with Risk and Compliance owners to develop, monitor and report on controls to manage Risk and Compliance
- Coordinate and conduct compliance reviews, including school accreditation compliance reviews
About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Experience in the fields of risk, compliance or assurance
- A good understanding of Risk and Compliance management processes
- Have a proactive approach towards achieving outcomes and work efficiently as an individual and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent qualifications relevant to management, risk management, policy, governance or in a relevant field is preferable.
- Current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence and eligibility to work within Australia for the period of this appointment.
- Currently hold or ability to obtain a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
