Outside School Hours Care Coordinator

Further your career in the OSHC industry! A new service based in Wheelers Hill is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 32 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance! Hours will be Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 03:00 - 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus 2 additional admin hours. In addition there may be Pupil Free Day shifts of 7:00AM - 6:00PM. There is currently no Holiday Program at this service but there may be work available at other services during this time. In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $500 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $500 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super. About the role Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration About us Partnering with parents and school communities, our goal is to build brighter futures by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. About the service Based in Wheelers Hill, this service would see you embedded in an open, positive and collaborative school. They have a great relationship with the Senior Coordinator who is regularly hands-on and present, providing you with a great sense of support and trust. The small school and service size (single-staffed) also means you can get to know every child and family in your care. They operate out of the school's community hall, with kitchenette, an office, toilets and a large multipurpose room all at your disposal. The kids also love making use of the basketball courts, large oval and outdoor area. Who are we looking for?
