St Therese’s Catholic School is a Catholic, co-educational school (K-6) that has provided a quality and Christ-centred education for students in the Moonah area and surrounds for over 80 years. Today, a dedicated and professional staff carry on the spirit and traditions of our founders, the Sisters of Saint Joseph. St Therese’s Catholic School operates their own Outside School Hours Care. Families are offered a high level of care by qualified and caring staff. Our centre is located directly next to the school, entering from the bottom car park (Hopkins St), through the gates at the old stable building.

Level 8 – Grade 6 (Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020)
St Therese’s Catholic School operates their own Outside School Hours Care. Families are offered a high level of care by qualified and caring staff. Our centre is located directly next to the school, entering from the bottom car park (Hopkins St), through the gates at the old stable building.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified OSHC Program Coordinator to join our team, working within the OSHC centre.
The OSHC Program Coordinator will work closely with OSHC staff and under the guidance of the school principal in the delivery of a quality-based program for children attending our service.
The position would suit a candidate who has experience in a childcare setting, is well organised and able to work independently and as a member of a team and is able to engage with children and families in an authentic and positive way.
To be eligible applicants require:
Essential
- Qualifications or study in Education / Child Care or similar;
- Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration;
- National Police Check;
- Accreditation A: Accreditation to work in a Catholic school or willingness to work towards.
Desirable
- Education sector experience;
- Proven experience in a similar role; and
- Current First Aid Certificate and asthma and anaphylaxis training or willingness to undertake training in this area.
