The position:
We are seeking part-time Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Educators to join our team at Sacred & Immaculate Heart OSHC in the New Town/Lenah Valley area. Ideally, we are looking for people to work 20 hours per week, however are open to negotiating to provide flexibility to the right person. You will have the opportunity to work with school-aged children supporting their learning and wellbeing. Our Outside School Hours Care provides an inviting and welcoming environment offering programs that are responsive to the interests and needs of school-age children. Our OSHC services provide Before School, After School and Vacation Care. You will work with children in our spectacular indoor and outdoor facilities, supported by a team of experienced managers.
Applicants must have:
- A fun and outgoing attitude to work
- A willingness to learn and an interest in working with children
- Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours
- Preferable: A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care – or a desire to study supported by Discovery
