We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Personal Assistant to support the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the Wellbeing and Student Services area, while being responsive to the needs of our students and staff. The ideal candidate will align with our Catholic, Marianist, and FCJ values and work within these foundational traditions to support our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Deputy Principal – Wellbeing and the student services team.
- Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and organise events such as parent-teacher conferences and assemblies.
- Prepare, collect, and distribute communications and reports.
- Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Develop positive relationships with colleagues and the broader College community.
- Adapt to new ideas and approaches, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Experience:
- Proven experience in providing comprehensive administrative support.
- Commitment to the Mission, Vision, and Catholic identity of the school.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with effective prioritisation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with individuals at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Professional integrity, ethical conduct, and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work collegially within a team setting and independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and reliability.
Position Details:
This is a full-time, 8.00am to 4.06pm position, Category C (working 45 weeks per year with seven weeks’ paid school holidays).
Requirements:
- Valid Employee Working with Children card and current National Criminal Record Check.
