Your unique contribution
Reporting to the Pacific Tax Manager, the Pacific Tax analyst will support the Australia and New Zealand businesses. As part of a team of 4, you will be responsible for the preparation of income tax returns for our AU & NZ businesses.
You will also be responsible for preparing tax reporting schedules on a quarterly cycle for group reporting purposes; undertaking tax sensitive account reviews; and assisting with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and other international tax disclosures. This role will also provide back-up support, as needed, for indirect tax compliance processes under the general guidance of the Pacific Tax Specialist - Indirect Taxes.

Preparation of income tax returns for our AU & NZ business
Analyse and interpret tax regulations and legislation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data and documentation for tax compliance purposes
Act as first back-up for the Pacific Tax Specialist - Indirect Taxes to assist with indirect tax processes
Assist with preparation of annual transfer pricing documentation

Experience in a chartered accounting firm or the tax / finance department of a large corporate organisation
Tertiary qualifications in accounting
Advanced level of tax knowledge and experience gained within a chartered accounting firm or large corporate organisation
Experience with tax compliance across Australia and New Zealand
Strong stakeholder management skills, with capacity to build trustworthy relationships to drive awareness of tax implications across the business
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
