As a Paid Social Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting, mentoring and developing your team, providing guidance on campaign strategy and optimisation.
  • Fostering a positive, growth-oriented team environment that drives teamwork, motivation and retention.
  • Facilitating career development and recognition for your team.
  • Working with other teams across the business, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration, and delivering training and coaching on Paid Social platforms.
  • Being the subject matter expert on all things Paid Social, as the go-to person for questions and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
  • Conducting training and facilitating certification for the Paid Social team, ensuring the latest best practices and technologies are being effectively used.
  • Together with the Head of Social, collaborating in researching, testing and implementing new platforms, tools and other technologies and innovations.
  • Ensuring team processes are efficient and closely followed.
  • Assisting in pitching for new business as well as supporting and driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Owning and/or supporting client acquisition strategy via Paid Media channels, with a focus on Paid Social - Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok and beyond.
  • Working closely with clients to recommend, create, and/or source assets required to maximise performance across paid channels.
  • Having a “revenue first” approach to client ROI - focusing not only on traffic, ROAS, CPL - but also on pipeline and revenue generated per campaign, looking to consistently grow their spend, as you scale their ROI.
  • Being an expert practitioner in Facebook Ads specifically - including copywriting & design principles required to skyrocket ROAS.
  • Adopting and researching best practices across creative, copy, video & other practices to help accelerate Paid Media ROI/ROAS.
  • Building short-term, mid-term and long-term strategy for client success, across multiple channels, as well as setting realistic benchmarks for ROAS and MER.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Facebook Ads, with a focus on e-commerce and performance marketing, preferably in an agency environment
  • Minimum 2+ years experience leading a team
  • Experience with LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest & other emerging channels highly preferred
  • Knowledge of SEM, Programmatic, CRO & general digital marketing is a plus
  • Proficiency in the use of marketing analytics and reporting tools and platforms
  • Strong knowledge of effective measurement and reporting, being able to analyze campaign performance to extract insights for use in campaign optimization and account growth
  • A love of learning and an ambition to change the ways things are done, unintimidated by the idea of working in new ways and with new technology
