In joining Vellex as a Pallet Coordinator, you will be required to ensure the effective movement of all pallet and operations data across sites on a state level. 

Start time: 9:00am

The successful candidate must have:

  • Previous logistics experience in a similar role advantageous, including a background in administration.
  • Have previous work experience in reviewing understanding of hired pallet process, paperwork and SOPs for pallet control. However, we are open to training the right person who does not have this experience. 
  • Have outstanding great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work in a changing environment.
  • Be friendly and helpful personality with the ability to perform under pressure.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Efficient Debriefing of inbound paperwork
  • Accurately Interpret daily work sheets to ensure compliance is met
  • Precise Data entry and report non-compliance issues
  • Scanning of freight
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks 
  • Reconcile owed pallets with accurate records and invoices, ensuring all pallet movements are properly accounted for.
  • Generate customer reports and proactively contact customers to facilitate timely pallet returns and maintain positive relationships.
  • Utilise software and tracking systems to monitor and track pallet movements, identifying any discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for pallet control and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
