Palliative Care Data Officer
- Part Time position
- 16 hours per fortnight
- The Royal Melbourne Hospital - City Campus, Parkville
This is a part time 0.2EFT position for a suitably experienced Data Officer to assist and guide collection of:
- Hospital based Palliative Care consultancy team (HBPCCT) VINAH activity for reporting via AIMs to the Victorian Department of Health
- Data for the Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration quality program, including regular monitoring for completeness, correction of error reports and biennial reporting to the National Database
- Other quality and research programs of the Parkville Integrated Palliative Care Service
- The position is based within the Parkville Integrated Palliative Care Service, based at the Parkville Precinct at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
Your new role:
- Database design, data entry, analysis and data extraction and transmission for clinical activity and quality outcomes, consisting of:
- Hospital based Palliative Care consultancy team (HBPCCT) VINAH activity for reporting via AIMs to the Victorian Department of Health
- Data for the Palliative Care Outcomes Collaboration (PCOC) quality program, including regular monitoring for completeness, correction of error reports and biennial reporting to the National Database
- Other quality and research programs of the Parkville Integrated Palliative Care Service
About you:
- Suitable applicants will have expertise and experience in reporting of HBPCCT activity to the Victorian Department of Health, experience with the PCOC dataset and reporting to the National collaborative, and expertise with EPIC, MS Excel and well developed interpersonal skills
