The opportunity:
Working within the Sydney office as a casual Paralegal, you will assist the Legal team in the day-to-day legal operations of The APP Group. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Assist the General Counsel and Legal Counsel with the day-to-day operations of files and request for record (obtain records, redact, and prepare response correspondence)
Draft and amend various legal documentation (including consultancy agreements, confidentiality agreements, leases, MOUs, tender offers and associated documents)
Collection of information relevant to matters and liaising with clients
Providing assistance to General Counsel and Legal Counsel in all aspects of file management and document preparation
Reviewing and providing advice on various Contracts
Ad hoc duties as required
About You:
The ideal applicant will have a strong attention to detail, be highly organised, and work well under pressure with the ability to work autonomously. You will also further possess:
3rd year law student or graduating end of 2026 with a minimum Distinction average and excellent results in Contract Law
Ability to demonstrate participation in extra-curriculum activities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience as a paralegal is highly desired but not essential
Ability to work 2 days per week (Tuesday / Friday, with option to work from home on Friday)
