The Role
Offering an interesting and wide array of responsibilities, this role sits both as a Paralegal and Legal PA, more leaning on Paralegal skillset and duties than administrative. Supporting in a Corporate law team, the group are open to a Senior Legal Secretary or Legal PA wanting to step up into more of a Paralegal role, having billable hours towards clients with no set KPIs.
Some responsibilities will include legal research, proof reading, support with litigated documents and processes, billing and financial admin, file, and matter management – among further admin duties. The team are one of the busiest and most successful in the firm, with a mix of Partners, Counsel and Senior Associates.
Is This For You?
Open to anyone from Legal or Accounting background, primarily from a Big 4 – this role is for an experience individual with 4+ years’ experience. Being more than a PA role and client facing role, a professional polish and presentation is needed and EQ is as important as IQ in this position – managing workflow and deadlines, as well as different working styles. A capable understanding of billing end to end is mandatory for any applicants, as this is a necessary skill to see success in this role, both individually and for the team.
