SalaryParalowie R-12 School is a large Reception to Year 12 school in the northern suburbs. It provides a supportive environment for learning and teaching, with a focus on achievement, excellence, and success for all in life, learning and citizenship. The school works in partnership with the community to provide an education that equips students with the skills, knowledge, understanding, and values to actively participate in, and contribute to, a productive and rewarding life in society.
We are currently seeking multiple outstanding, passionate teachers to join our innovative and engaging team in the subject areas of Art, HASS, Science and Biology for temporary contracts commencing as soon as practical.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs and interests of your students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student achievement and well-being
- Maintain accurate student records and support individual learning plans
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field
- Current registration as a teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia
- Proven experience teaching secondary school students, preferably within a public-school setting
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and its effective integration into lesson planning and delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
