Our client, a leading financial services practice based in the heart of Toowoomba, is seeking a permanent, full-time Paraplanner to join their results-driven, professional team.
The successful applicant will provide technical, compliance and financial strategy support to ensure delivery of financial advice to clients.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Preparing financial documents such as Statements of Advice and Records of Advice
Reviewing documents to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely
Undertaking background searches including risk analysis; superannuation and investment product selection; financial modelling; retirement, transition to retirement and aged care
Confirming Centrelink calculations
Maintaining current knowledge of legislation, Quality Advice Fundamentals, licensee guidelines and product details to ensure accurate advice is provided to internal and external stakeholders
Filing and updating client information
Applicants must possess previous experience in a Financial Advice or Paraplanner role with relevant qualifications (including DFP compliancy and a willingness to further study if required).
It is imperative that candidates have high level attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to research, understand, communicate and apply legislative and compliance requirements. Strong communication skills and intermediate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, are also essential to the role.
