We currently have a position available for a paraplanner to join our Financial Planning team. We have offices in Toowoomba (head office) and Clayfield however we are open to remote working options for the right candidate. The role is full time and well suited to an energetic and proactive person with exceptional organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
About the role
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- Working closely with our Financial Planners;
- Researching products relevant to the clients strategy;
- Preparing advice documents;
- Assist in the quality and compliance review of advice documents;
- Essential understanding of developing modelling projections, insurance needs analysis and super fund and investment product analysis;
- Ensure turnaround times and deadlines for advice are appropriately managed;
- Liaising with Fund Managers; and
- Compliance with relevant Acts, regulations and standards.
Knowledge and Experience
- It is desired the suitable applicant have a Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum, or equivalent industry experience;
- Have an advanced working knowledge of XPlan. Including use of XTools+, Risk Researcher and Wealthsolver applications;
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Excel;
- Ability to adapt well to changing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem solving skills;
- Demonstrated professionalism, including exercising confidentiality and discretion; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
