Our client is a boutique financial planning practice. They are looking for an intermediate Paraplanner to assist their successful and dynamic financial planning team in preparation of advice documents.
This business prides themselves on establishing and maintaining long term relationships.
Clients benefit from the integration of the various skills in the firm to achieve optimum outcomes in areas such as retirement, superannuation, wealth creation, retirement planning and risk.
The Role
Reporting to the Director you will support the advisers in all levels of advice.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- With the use of XPlan prepare SOA's and ROA's for new and existing clients
- Ensure all portfolios recommended are in accordance with recommendations and meet all compliance requirements
- Ensure all strategies are focused on the clients needs/objectives
- Other duties as required
About You
Currently you will be working within a Financial Planning industry in a Paraplanning role, you will have demonstrated high values, integrity and have strong ethical behaviors. You will need to possess strong and articulate communication, and will need to work extremely well within a team environment.
You will be client focused and enjoy working within a professional and supportive financial planning team.
To be considered for this role, you need to process the following attributes:
- Driven to provide accurate, compliant advice documents across a varied client base
- Strong technical and research skills with a broad knowledge base and thorough understanding of industry regulations.
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- An ability to develop and build on key relationships with internal stakeholders
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Effective time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products; and
- XPlan Financial Planning software would be an advantage
