About the Role
This is a career move for an experienced person that is ready to manage one of Ingenia’s largest Park sites Australia wide and loves variety. A multifaceted role centred around enhancing the guest experience, you will utilise your business, stakeholder, and project management skills ensuring our beautiful asset is showcased and maintained to the satisfaction of our most important critic – our guests.
Managing a workforce day to day you will be a natural leader and have experience with resource planning, rostering, recruitment and performance enhancement.
Flexibility is also key as we are 365 days a year business that never stops, meaning you will work a rotating roster and no two days will be the same.
Reporting to an Area Manager and being part of a regional team of Park Managers, full support is provided to you to achieve all of this with a sophisticated infrastructure of systems, processes and people that are behind you 100% every day. Training is second to none and ongoing, so you can be your best.
Responsibilities
- Provide high levels of customer service to all guests and residents
- Management of staff including roster preparation and performance management and recruitment of new staff
- Finance and resource management for consumables, grounds and buildings
- Support construction and development teams with new cabins and refurbishment processes
- Conducting weekly inspections of the site
- Collection of outstanding payments from residents
- Attend to emergency situations when required
About You
With a background in tourism, property, sales or venue management, you should be passionate about the tourism industry and be able to demonstrate your experience with the following:
- Experience in managing similar assets, preferably Tourist/Caravan Parks
- Commercial awareness, knowing your competition and developing your business
- Promoting and selling permanent sites when required
- Operational and project management skills
- People management skills
- Experience using systems i.e. Newbook or similar booking software
- Excellent administrative, financial controls and practices
- Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer satisfaction
