Weekend Magic:
- Work weekends (plus 2-3 days during the week)
- Craft delicious and nutritious meals following specialized menus and resident dietary needs
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
- Lead and supervise a team of catering assistants, providing guidance particularly on the weekends
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen space.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team spirit
- Ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal deliveries
You're a Perfect Fit if You:
- Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Passionate about creating delicious and healthy meals
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- A genuine empathy for seniors and their dietary needs
- A positive and team-oriented spirit
- Previous aged care experience would be an advantage although not essential.
