We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our team on a permanent Part Time basis working 16 hours per week. Hours can be worked across 2 full days or 3 days school hours. You must be able to work Tuesdays.
About the role
The Payroll officer will oversee payroll processing and provide administrative support to HR. Responsibilities will include:
- Accurate and timely processing of weekly payrolls for 180 employees using UKG Ready
- Maintaining the Payroll/HR system including adding new starters and processing terminations
- Completing month end and ad hoc reports
- Assisting with payroll queries as required
- Support the HR manager with HR administrative duties
To be successful you will have:
- Prior experience in payroll or HR
- Ability to understand awards, payroll legislation and processes, including taxation and superannuation.
- Kronos UKG Ready experience would be an advantage
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
