Part Time Project Coordinator Role at a Government Organisation
A large government organisation is searching for a part-time Project Coordinator role to work in a large transformation.
The Project Coordinator who will report to the Business Systems Manager, and be responsible for:
• Streamlining project planning and management of everyday tasks, utilising FreshService to the best of its capabilities
• Managing the operations planning (and change management) for both major and minor releases.
• Collaborating with stake holders to track the progress of tasks, highlighting risks, and planning the pipeline of future work (in consultation with the Manager).
• Monitor and control activities by identifying the potential risks and issues in the project and escalating to proper channels.
• Tracking project against scope, schedule, costs and Plan releases
• Assisting with roadmap planning and cross-functional consultation and communications.
• Assisting with the development of our project prioritisation process.
• Raising scope/timeframe and budget concerns and facilitating ways to mitigate them so that we can meet the priority goals of the roadmap and funding commitments.
Essential
• Experience working in Waterfall & Agile projects, especially with vendor project teams.
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative way.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
This is because much of the role is collaborating with others and making things clear for them quickly. Needs to build and maintain great relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Experience in the Education sector is desirable
