Hi there, we're Five Good Friends, and we're an approved aged care and registered NDIS service provider. We help our clients (we call them Members) live vibrantly in their own homes by wrapping our care teams around them and their families.

Five Good Friends strives to form high-quality, long-lasting connections between Members and their Helpers. Our Community Care Workers (we call them Helpers) play a key role in creating the magic for our Members to keep them in their homes and connected with the communities, families, and friends that they love.
We began seven years ago in QLD and today we provide services across Australia. We are proud to say that we are invited back into the homes of our members over 25,000 times a month. About the Role
This is a newly created role and we are looking for a Part Time skilled and experienced Cleaner located in Forest Lake, to work within a Retirement Village and local community.

This role relies on great people, you could find yourself working on any of the following to provide high-quality care services our Members, in accordance with their Help Plan.
Services may include:
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the Retirement Village and homes of Members.
- Domestic Assistance - e.g. cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping, light gardening
- Companionship - e.g. providing company through friendships, interests and activities
- Driving and Community Access - e.g. driving to appointments, shops, outings if needed
- Home Administration - e.g. booking appointments, organising special events, support with technology
- Interacting with the residents and Members in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimise the risk of infection transmission.
- Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Act as a role model to our other Helpers regarding the Five Good Friends code of conduct values, systems, technology and processes
Do you have what it takes?
- You will have two years cleaning experience in Residential or Retirement Village setting.
- Experience working in the Aged Care or Disability Sector providing care in a community will be highly regarded.
- You will be IT literate and able to use smartphones and tablets
- You will demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Integrity, discretion and tact with respect to confidential information.
- Flexible and responsive in management or workload and tasks.
- You will hold a current First Aid, CPR and Mental Health First Aid Certificates.
- You will have the ability and be willing to obtain a clear relevant criminal history checks and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current open and clear Driver's License.
