The role

This is an exciting opportunity to grow your leadership skills and lead a dedicated team in a fast paced environment. As a part of the leadership team, you will work closely with the Manager and Trainee Manager to achieve the store's vision and goals. A core part of your role will be supporting the staff, by offering delegation, training and consistent feedback. You will act as an ambassador for LUSH and supervise the team to do the same. The Kotara team are seeking candidates who are passionate about motivating others and supporting their teammates' growth and learning, as well as being excited about their own growth and development in a leadership capacity. The successful candidates will also have a passion for exemplary customer service, and will take pride in their reliability and professionalism. This is a part-time position working 30 hours per week.

Core Responsibilities
  • Leading the shop floor by delegating tasks and ensuring that customer's needs are being met.
  • Supervising and training Sales Assistants to give the highest level of LUSH customer service.
  • Leading by example when serving customers, taking customers on interactive store tours, moving from range to range while securing sales.
  • Maintaining thorough product knowledge, referring to key ingredients and describing their benefits with confidence.
  • Training other staff on product knowledge, sales and processes.
  • Maintaining stock management and processes.
  • Assisting with other leadership, stock or sales related tasks when needed - we work as a team!

  • Has retail and/or leadership experience.
  • Has stock management experience.
  • Has flexible full time availability to meet the needs of the business.
  • Is a genuine people-person, and loves to help others.
  • Has a strong ethical compass and is passionate about our brand values.
  • Is a fast learner and wants to soak up knowledge about all things LUSH!
