IDSS is a registered not-for-profit NDIS provider delivering a range of supports that enable individuals to live as empowered and equal members of our community. Our services include supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), community lifestyle options and skills development opportunities.
About the role
Using your fabulous interpersonal skills to ensure that our participants receive exceptional customer service outcomes, your role will be both challenging yet very rewarding. You can expect your day to include the following:
- Meeting with our participants, their families and stakeholders to ensure their IDSS experience is positive and fulfilling
- Working with our lifestyle mentors to identify skill sets and quirky traits that bring points of difference to our participants
- Rostering appropriate staff to meet participant needs using our intuitive software programs
- Ensuring that all compliance required administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Problem solving to achieve best possible support outcomes for participants
- Creating relationships that grow and develop the business

Skills and experience
Success in this role will require:
- Understanding of, and empathy for, the needs and requirements of our participants and mentors
- Demonstrated superior customer service, communication and administrative skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to best outcomes.
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team in a busy environment.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities working within tight time frames.
- Experience in rostering staff
- Knowledge of the disability sector
