National Delivery is a pivotal team within our organisation, responsible for engaging with participants and managing participant plans and supports. Our State/Territory-based business units ensure nationally consistent participant experiences, making our services accessible to all.
About the Role
As an APS3 Participant Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in our team, responsible for managing and resolving participant matters in accordance with relevant regulations. This role involves a blend of procedural, clerical, administrative support, and operational tasks, including basic research and analysis. You will also have the opportunity to interact with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, providing straightforward advice and assistance.
- Manage and resolve participant matters by actioning tasks as required.
- Provide counter/reception support for the local office, including participant enquiries in self-help kiosks and online support channels.
- Resolve customer enquiries, providing information, and referring customers to appropriate services.
- Manage the team's shared email inbox, appointments, and telephone enquiries.
- Coordinate appointments using office facilities, ensuring accessibility for participants.
- Undertake research and investigation activities, preparing associated reports and correspondence.
- Conduct various data entry tasks and ensure follow-up is completed promptly.
- Receive and record complaints and other feedback.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in customer service or administrative roles is desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant services or regulations is advantageous.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
