Basketball Western Australia (BWA) is the governing body for Basketball in Western Australia with a vision to improve the life of Western Australians through Basketball. Our purpose is to grow and develop the game of Basketball.
The successful candidate for this role will be passionate, open, responsible, will strive for continuous improvement and have a team first approach.
Working within a small supportive team, the Participation Officer will support the growth of Basketball in schools and throughout the broader community and will assist our Associations in the ongoing introduction and development of basketball. This involves helping to administer our Aussie Hoops and Sporting Schools programs, run our School Slam Series primary school carnivals, and assist in delivering events, such as 3×3 basketball tournaments.
