The Information Technology team works in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to support Anglicare WA’s staff, volunteers and contractors in using digital technology solutions to effectively deliver the organisation’s vision and goals.
As the Systems Support Officer, as part of a wider IT team, you will work closely with the external IT software provider to ensure prompt resolution of technical and systems process issues for a brand new IT system and application that captures client data, workflows and processes for a recently launched Rent Relief program, which aims to assist households in the private WA sector facing severe financial hardship. You will support staff, clients, and the program in their use of the system with end user satisfaction as the primary driver.
This is a full-time max term contract with 12 months' duration based in East Perth.
What you will bring
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or experience in systems / application support
- Demonstrated experience supporting client management systems
- Knowledge of cyber security best practice principles
- The ability to work on projects in a fast-paced environment, both independently and in project teams
- Ability to work with limited supervision to achieve project timelines
- Excellent communication/interpersonal as well as analytical skills and demonstrated experience working with people to engage with projects and create a range of solutions based on requirements
- An ability to set priorities, plan and organise own work
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite of products – including SharePoint
- Strong interest in or passion for innovation, design thinking, technology and exceptional user outcomes
- ITIL certification and knowledge of human centred design would be highly desirable
The successful candidate must posses a National Police Clerance valid within the last 12 months.
