What you’ll be doing:

The role of Partnership Specialist, Consumer Partnerships sits within the Commercial team at Velocity Frequent Flyer and reports to the Head of Consumer Partnerships.

By taking the lead on the designated partners, you will be expected to drive a plan for growth for those partners including; all aspects of relationship management; defining, establishing and delivering on the partner marketing and innovation strategies; end to end campaign delivery; and contract negotiations.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Have 5 Years + commercial experience in Commercial, Partnership or Consumer Loyalty environment
  • Come with project Management experience to lead new programs of work within the partnership
  • Have experience with planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Are confident assessing context, environment and growth opportunities
  • Have previous experience in loyalty with a strong understanding of loyalty environment
  • Have excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders including partners and senior internal leaders
  • Can pilot new ideas and challenging ways of thinking
  • Have demonstrated analytical skills and MS Excel proficient; able to develop forecasts and business cases
  • Have a strong customer orientation with a focus on delivering enhanced experiences for our partners and members
  • Possess strong negotiation skills to navigate through stakeholder relationships and contracts
  • Are a confident and effective at presenting and pitching to all levels within a business
  • Have knowledge of partner marketing strategies and execution
  • Have the demonstrated ability to develop marketing initiatives and drive through to fulfilment
  • Have experience gained in Retail, Insurance, Telco, Utility or B2B environment, or Consumer Loyalty role (desirable)
  • Have a solid understanding of data based segmentation and direct marketing to appropriately target members for maximum engagement (desirable)
