What you’ll be doing:

The Airline Loyalty team is responsible for driving partnership growth with Virgin Australia, our Airline Partners and non-air partners as well as the evolution of the program design.  This opportunity is responsible for focusing on partners, products and initiatives that drive members to redeem their Points, encourages members to earn Points with our suite of non-air travel partners, and focuses on maintaining and delivering a world class loyalty program.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Come with direct account or partnership management experience either in  a commercial, loyalty or agency role
  • Are a self starter, having the ability to produce high quality outputs with minimal supervision
  • Possess solid relationship, interpersonal and portfolio management skills
  • Have commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Have planning, budgeting and reporting experience
  • Have experience in sales, direct marketing retailing and CRM
  • Are a keen negotiator and comfortable navigating  through stakeholder relationships and contracts (desirable)
  • Come with an understanding of campaign management process and objectives
  • Have a university degree in Business, Commerce or Marketing
  • Have an understanding of loyalty businesses and concepts (desirable)
  • Understand the commercial dynamics of the airline industry (desirable)
  • Agile fundamental knowledge (desirable)
  • Have a natural ability to pivot quickly and change direction when a new opportunity presents itself (desirable)
  • Can work effectively in project teams (desirable)
