About the Role

The role provides partnership and program support services within the Transnational Education (TNE) Partnerships Unit to support the current and future operations of the University's TNE portfolio.

Examples of duties you will perform include:

  • Provide support to the TNE Partnerships management team in the day-to-day management of allocated partnerships and programs
  • Provide high level organisational and administrative support to ensure efficient program operations and a high level of service to relevant internal and external stakeholders offshore and at VU Sydney and VU Brisbane.
  • Provide market intelligence and operational support services to the TNE Partnerships Unit in the development and negotiation of new international business projects.
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate a diverse range of program and project activities across the TNE student and program lifecycle in line with the University's requirements and timelines, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Liaise effectively and professionally with partner staff and key internal stakeholders to provide quality and timely advice to staff and students, and support the resolution of issues that arise.
  • Coordinate the invoicing process, including enrolment reconciliations, calculating tuition fee revenue and working with the finance team to issue invoices collect student payments, and processing purchase orders.
  • Provide a range of operational and administrative services such as drafting TNE Agreements and Schedules and TNE program performance-related reports.
  • Coordinate management committee and other meetings, and partner staff workshops for assigned partnerships.
  • Facilitate TNE partnership inbound and outbound visits.

HEP 6, $82,372 - $89,161 per annum plus 17% employer superannuation contribution. This is a full-time (36.75 hours per week) continuing appointment.

  • You will have an understanding of international and transnational education operations
  • You will be able to demonstrate well-developed communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and problem solving ability in cross-cultural settings
  • You will have experience in project/program management and business development
