About the role Join Sonder Australia as a Partnerships Manager and be at the forefront of revolutionising employee wellbeing through innovative technology. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise and working within our dynamic Strategy & Growth - Sales department, you'll engage with key leaders across various sectors, both internally and externally. Your mission: to leverage strategic partnerships and generate impactful referrals, driving our growth and expanding our reach across ANZ.   • Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute strategic business development plans, collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, legal, support).
  • Pipeline and Partnerships: Establish and grow the business development pipeline by engaging with prospects, key customers, and developing long-term strategic partnerships to maximize referral reach in the ANZ markets.
  • Performance Tracking and Improvement: Track partner performance, identify gaps in enablement, engagement, pipeline, and bookings, and develop action plans to address these gaps.
  • Market Strategy Execution: Serve as a key member of the sales team to drive overall partner strategy, coordinate marketing activities, create demand for Sonder products, and forecast partner pipeline conversion.
  • Partner Management: Develop and manage a group of committed partners, including recruiting, onboarding, educating, and measuring their performance in the ANZ region.
  • Sales and Services Opportunities: Develop selling and services opportunities within partner organisations, penetrate new divisions, and develop business value propositions for using Sonder’s services and solutions.

Who are we looking for? The right person will possess extensive sales and/or business development experience. You will be passionate, self-motivated, and take pride in producing high-quality work every day. What you bring to the team:

  • Degree/MBA in relevant disciplines with at least ten years of working knowledge of tech companies.
  • Extensive channel and alliance experience in ANZ is an essential requirement to be successful in this role.
  • Experience working within the enterprise software industry is highly desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations.
  • Exposure to and experience in developing channel programs to deliver sustainable revenue.
  • Culturally aware and have good interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across different functional teams and internal
  • 10+ years of relevant sales and partner management experience
  • Extensive channel and alliance experience in the ANZ market
  • Ability to define and execute against the partner program, establishing business and relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these organisations in order to build long-term business and marketing opportunities.
  • Possess both a business background that enables you to drive engagement and interact at the CXO/VP level, as well as a background that enables you to easily interact with domain experts in the employee wellbeing space.
  • You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and employee related challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

    Support customers gain value from the product / service. Including check-ins, training, addressing blockers to adoption, and providing best practice advice
