Owner side - Facilities Manager

The Company & Benefits:
Our client, a well-established and respected Commercial Property Landlord is seeking a Facilities Manager to join their team to oversee the Facilities Management for a range of commercial and retail assets in Sydney.

The Role:

• Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: staying on schedule for all preventative maintenance (BMS, fire, etc.),
• Ensuring buildings are compliant, conducting site inspections, receiving maintenance requests from tenants, managing contractors
• Capital Works: manage capital works across the building, manage any tenant fit-outs 
• Stakeholder Management: coordinating with management and tenants, working closely with Property Management team, building relationships with external contractors
• Systems & Reporting: inputting maintenance tasks into system and managing through to closure, providing regular updates to Property Manager, assisting with budgets/ reporting

Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of facilities management experience and:

• Experience in office/ commercial buildings
• Strong technical knowledge
• A proactive approach to facilities
• Mechanical or electrical trade qualification a bonus
