Together with Caterpillar, we've been there for customers - selling and servicing the best equipment in the world - on land, at sea, in construction, mining and industry.     ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Parts Inventory & Logistics Manager, we are looking for a Parts Inventory & Procurement Manager to oversee the management of our Parts Inventory across the business, based at our Clayton Head office Branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Inventory & Procurement professional with a strong background in inventory control, procurement, and a deep understanding of parts and systems.Your key responsibilities will include the following: Manage the total inventory control function for the entire company. Management of the William Adams Parts Inventory vendors. Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives and projects with a focus on improved efficiency and effectiveness Work cross functionally with the purchasing team on all inventory related tenders Working closely with Caterpillar Global Parts & Service Logistics Division  Provide direction, coaching and motivation to the Parts Inventory, planning and expediting team ABOUT YOUYou will ideally have the following skills, experience & attributes: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business administration or related field Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a parts operation, inventory management logistics role Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
